About Danny
I am an 18 year old Cambridge Economics Undergraduate. Over the past 2 years, I have grown to love sharing knowledge to younger students and helping them to absorb it and improve academically. I deeply care about the lives of those I meet and find it very satisfying to help students understand difficult concepts in an enjoyable manner. With university imminent, I am looking to regularly tutor to a very high standard until October and help tutees to build strong academic foundations for the upcoming year.

I am an engaging and lively tutor focused on clearly communicating academic concepts to students. I aim to help students to understand the intuition behind different ideas and then cement this understanding through practice questions. Having recently achieved 4 A* grades in my A-Level exams, I have acquired much knowledge about optimal exam technique and aim to pass this on to tutees.
Lessons are typically one hour long but this can vary depending on tutee demands.
I spent 18 months in sixth form running Economics sessions with year 9-11 pupils at my school. We explored GCSE and A-Level Economics content while also going beyond the syllabus to access new ideas. I also volunteered as a maths tutor for year 9 students for a term. I have also recently mentored year 11-12 students, providing advice and insights about university applications, especially for Economics related degrees.
I worked as a cricket coach from April to July 2024 furthering my communication skills with younger age groups.
I offer tuition in the Mathematics and Economics A-Levels. I also offer tuition for the Mathematics and Further Mathematics GCSEs.
