About James
Hi! I'm James, and have degrees in Classics from King's College London and the University of Cambridge. I have produced work across a diverse curriculum, and I'm happy to show samples of past essays on request.
I have experience teaching politics, economics, international relations and public speaking. Throughout my degrees I have also engaged with a broad range of subjects within Classics, directing my attention equally to Greek, Latin, Philosophy, History, and the expansive field of 'Reception Studies', which has allowed me to take my research well beyond antiquity, and study more contemporary subjects such in Philosophy, Cultural Studies and English Literature.
I am a prolific worker who is also eager to impart what knowledge I can to others, while maintaining what I hope to be an easygoing, confident attitude to any tutees. I have consistently scored highly in exams, and will do everything I can to ensure that others manage the same.

I have also been awarded the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, for which I volunteered at the local Cub Scout centre, helping the children there as a figure of responsibility.
