About Ahmed

Hi! I'm Ahmed, a PhD researcher in theoretical physics at King's College London. Before that I completed the MASt in Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Physics, where I graduated 2nd out of 103 students. My research on rotating quantum gases is published in Physical Review A. I got A*s in A-level Physics, Chemistry and Maths myself, so I know exactly what these exams ask of you.

I've tutored Maths and Physics online since 2021. In my experience, students who struggle with physics are usually missing one or two foundations, and once those are fixed the rest gets much easier. I'm patient, I'll explain an idea in several different ways until one clicks, and I teach exam technique as well as content.

I also speak Albanian, Turkish and Italian, and I'm happy to talk with parents in any of them.

About the lesson

Online lessons with a shared whiteboard, built around your exam board, your timeline and your target grade.

I teach GCSE, A-level and IB Physics, Maths and Further Maths.

• In the first lesson we work out exactly where the gaps are, using a few questions and your recent tests or mocks.
• Then we rebuild the foundations, so you understand why each method works, not just how to use it.
• Every lesson includes exam-style questions. Closer to exams, we focus on past papers, timing and picking up method marks.

Aiming for Oxford, Cambridge or another top university? I also prepare students for the ESAT, TMUA and STEP and run mock interviews. See my other ad.

He quickly identified the gaps in James' foundations and used worked examples to show how the theory is applied, which made a real difference.
