About Neelu
I am a computer science student at the University of Cambridge and am offering online maths tutoring. I have over two years of maths tutoring at school and at Kumon maths tutoring. I can offer tutoring in pure maths, mechanics, and statistics. I achieved grade A (band 1, i.e. Upper A) in Advanced Higher Maths, Statistics, and Mechanics, consistently achieving over 95% in all of these.
I also created an Advanced Higher maths revision website (AHmaths.com – formerly (concealed information) that is used by thousands of Advanced Higher maths students in Scotland.

In my experience, the best way of learning maths is with the correct balance of learning, practice, and consolidation. In each session, the student will learn or revise content through a combination of teaching and example problems, as well as some problems for them to work through. If necessary, the student will then be given a few practice problems to do before the next session to consolidate a particular topic. I will then go through the student's solutions to these problems with them at the start of the next session.
Closer to exam time, the sessions will focus on revision of topics the student is less comfortable with, as well as consolidation of the topics they are comfortable with, in addition to exam technique.
I can offer tutoring in the following subjects:
A-levels: Maths, Further Maths, Statistics
GCSE: Maths, Further Maths
SQA Advanced Highers: Maths, Statistics, Mechanics
SQA Highers: Maths
SQA National 5s: Maths
Additionally, I have recently gone through the university application process for computer science, a very maths-heavy subject, and can provide support for university applications in related fields as well as admissions tests such as TMUA and MAT.
