About Katie
I am a veterinary student at Cambridge and am originally from a little town outside of Belfast. I grew up on a farm with cows, sheep, horses, chickens, dogs, cats and all sorts! I still love the outdoors, travelling, running, cycling and dance. I love teaching because I have learnt so much throughout my education, not just in terms of content but how to do exams effectively with the least stress and also engage and enjoy the content. My aim is to inspire others to do the same.

My lessons are typically an hour but I can adjust these based on how you concentrate best or how much material you would like to cover. My lessons look slightly different depending on the level. For GCSE and A-level students, I focus on exam technique and really understanding how mark schemes work after we have worked through the content together. I went through these exams not too long ago, so I know exactly how it feels. In terms of learning content, I am often led by you! I find diagrams very helpful so I often use the whiteboard. I teach anywhere from 9-18 year olds. I think it is very important to feel motivated and supported by a tutor to achieve your potential, so these are my top aims.
