About Franchesca M
I am a STEM educator with a background in biology and a Ph.D. candidate in STEM Education, where my research has trained me in rigorous statistical methods within real-world research contexts. Having spent years as a STEM student myself, I recognize the challenges that can come with complex material and focus on making concepts clear, approachable, and intuitive. I have taught a wide range of learners, from elementary students to college-level courses—and use those experiences to adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs while maintaining a supportive and professional learning environment.

My lessons focus on helping students understand statistical reasoning rather than memorizing formulas. I specialize in topics like linear regression, chi-square tests, and foundational quantitative methods, breaking them down into intuitive, real-world ideas that make sense. I can teach at the AP Statistics level as well as college-level courses, including support using SPSS and Stata. I emphasize why methods work, when to use them, and how to interpret results confidently, so you can apply these tools independently and effectively.
