About Vigie Rose

Hello! I’m Vigie Rose Ragas, a certified TEFL holder with a strong background in communication, customer service, and digital operations. I take great pride in being reliable, organized, and fully committed to helping you learn with confidence and clarity.

Beyond my teaching qualification, I hold a Certificate in Information Technology and bring over a decade of combined professional experience—including 5 years in BPO customer service, 4 years in social media management, and 3 years in e-commerce and operations. This means I don’t only teach English from textbooks; I understand how language is used in real life, in the workplace, and in everyday interactions.

I approach every lesson with patience, empathy, and careful attention to detail. I create a safe, respectful space where you feel comfortable asking questions, practicing at your own pace, and learning from mistakes without worry. My goal is to make lessons practical, engaging, and tailored exactly to your needs—whether you are building conversational skills, preparing for work, or learning for personal growth.

You can trust that I am professional, prepared, and dedicated to supporting you every step of the way.

About the lesson

My Approach as a Tutor
I believe learning should feel comfortable, practical, and tailored to you — not just following a rigid script. I focus on making complex ideas simple, building confidence step by step, and helping you use what you learn in real situations.
Teaching Method & Techniques
Conversational & Supportive: I keep sessions relaxed and interactive — we talk through things, ask questions freely, and learn by doing rather than just listening.
Real-Life Focus: Since I’m TEFL-certified and have experience in customer service, travel, and daily communication, I use everyday examples you’ll actually encounter.
Mix of Styles: I combine clear explanations, guided practice, feedback, and short fun activities to keep things interesting. I adjust my pace and style to match how you learn best.
Confidence First: I correct gently, celebrate progress, and make sure you feel safe making mistakes — that’s how we improve!
Typical Lesson Plan (30–60 mins)
Warm-up (5–10 mins): Quick chat or simple activity to get you speaking and set the topic.
Goal & Input (10–15 mins): Clear introduction of what we’ll learn (e.g., phrases for travel, grammar for work emails) with easy examples.
Practice (20–25 mins): Guided exercises, role-plays, or short tasks — I give tips and correct as we go.
Apply & Review (10–15 mins): You try it on your own; we recap key points and answer questions.
Wrap-up (5 mins): Quick summary, small homework/next step if you want it, and check what you’d like to focus on next.
What Sets Me Apart
Practical Experience: Beyond my TEFL certification, I’ve worked in customer service, travel, and sales — so I know exactly what English you need for jobs, travel, and daily life.
Adaptable: I can switch between formal, professional, or casual styles depending on what you need.
Tech-Savvy & Organized: I use simple tools to make lessons smooth, keep track of your progress, and adjust whenever something works better for you.
Patient & Empathetic: I know learning something new takes time — I meet you where you are and help you move forward at your own pace.
Who Are My Lessons For?
English Learners: All levels — from beginners starting out to advanced learners polishing professional or conversational skills.
Specific Needs:
General / daily conversation
English for work, BPO, customer service, travel, or sales
Exam prep or TEFL-aligned learning
Kids, teens, or adults — I match tone and content to age and goal
No specific degree or background required: Whether you’re a student, working professional, or just learning for fun — my lessons fit your goals, schedule, and level.
