About Mark

My name is Mark and I started professionally learning to sign in college, but I started learning at about 14 years old from old library books. I'd write down the lyrics to songs and memorize each word in Sign Language individually. When I started college, I was thinking I'd have the advantage due to my semi-fluency, however, I was quickly humbled. Who knew ASL had its own grammar and syntax rules different than English!?

About the lesson

Want to see real results? You're in the right spot. It will require you to put in effort and practice, but that's part of the fun with this language. Fluency is within reach. We'll go at your pace, slow or fast; you're learning at your pace. Let's learn skills and throw hands!
