About Pooja

Hello and welcome! I am a certified British Columbia educator holding a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), with over 8 years of teaching experience across classroom settings and personalized one-on-one tutoring.
Having studied science and pedagogy in depth, I know that children are natural scientists—they are inherently curious about how the world works. However, when science is presented only as heavy definitions, textbooks, and memorization, that natural excitement can quickly turn into anxiety or disinterest. My mission is to rekindle that curiosity.

About the lesson

Does science feel like memorizing dry facts from a textbook? I turn everyday science into an engaging, interactive adventure! Aligned with the British Columbia curriculum, my lessons connect complex concepts to the real world so students genuinely understand how and why things work.

Forces, Energy & Earth Systems: Light, sound, simple machines, weather, and environmental science.
School Support: Homework assistance, test preparation, inquiry projects, and filling foundational learning gaps.

Real-World Connections: Using visual models, analogies, and quizzes instead of monotonous lectures.
