About Nyota
My teaching journey began in 2011 during an exchange program in Tanzania, where I volunteered at a Hangeul school. Seeing the joy of children learning Korean sparked a lifelong passion for education within me. Later, while traveling through Southeast Asia and experiencing the global impact of Korean culture, I became convinced that language is the most beautiful bridge connecting people and the world. With this inspiration, I have been professionally teaching students worldwide online since 2017.
Having traveled to over 9 countries, including Japan, Canada, and South Africa, and studied languages like Japanese, English, and Swahili myself, I consider myself a "professional learner." I deeply understand both the challenges and the excitement of picking up a new language. My lessons follow a philosophy I’ve held since day one: maintaining a relaxed, friend-like atmosphere while delivering highly structured content.
