About Kelsey
Hey there! Are you having trouble understanding math? I totally understand - math is tricky stuff! Luckily, I'm here to help :)
I've been teaching since 2018 and have worked with students from grade 4 all the way to grade 12 (and even some adults).
My main focus when tutoring is to make sure you are comfortable with me - both my personality and the way I teach you. I'm a very adaptive person, meaning that I quickly try to figure out the way you learn best and curate how I teach you. Everyone learns differently, so it's important to me to figure out the way that works for you!

My main focus when tutoring is to make sure you are comfortable with me - both my personality and the way I teach you. I'm a very adaptive person, meaning that I quickly try to figure out the way you learn best and curate how I teach you. Everyone learns differently, so it's important to me to figure out the way that works for you!
When I tutor a student, I let them decide first what they would like to work on (learning and understanding a concept, doing practice questions, test prep, etc.). As the lesson progresses, I may suggest doing practice questions for a concept I think you need to work on and guide you where to go from there.

If you are located farther than Kemnay or Forrest, the rate will increase to $35 for time/travel expenses. My preferred method of tutoring is in person in the student's home.
