About Chante
- What kind of experience do you have? I have 4 years and counting private tuition experience. I teach on an individual basis so that students can work at their own pace. However, I also offer group sessions so that children can benefit from interactive and useful discussion. I have had students get into local grammar and private schools in Sutton, Kent and Croydon and I have had GCSE successes. My most recent students for 11+ have had offers from private schools, Whitgift, Trinity and Cedars, and got into their 1st choice schools, Wilson's and Trinity. - Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate? I offer friendly and accessible maths tuition. I target the fundamentals of maths, ensuring students have a sound knowledge of the basics of maths. Through this self-confidence is raised, aiding their learning. I believe this helps, especially due to how hard the 11+ prep is! In lessons I make sure students are taught any topics they are unsure of, giving them homework to consolidate their learning. Closer to the 11+ date we do as much practice as possible to help students feel completely prepared for the real thing.

A-Ling has developed a great rapport with our daughter Anna, who has responded well to her Maths Tuition, we are very pleased.
A-Ling is a brilliant tutor for my girls who are starting year 5 and year 9, she has built a rapport with them and teaches them in a way they find easy to understand.  She explains concepts so well they have finally grasped them and I will definitely continue to use her this year also.
