Hi! I’m Charlie. I’m a tutor and teach with over 33 years experience in tutoring ALL areas of Mathematics and Physics C (Mechanics). I have also been a very successful classroom teacher for 26 years.

About Charlie
My undergrad degree was an MS in Pure Math. While in undergrad I was selected to study at the UC Berkeley Summer Math Institute for Gifted Undergrads. I was admitted to the doctoral program at UCLA. I left after advancing to candidacy to pursue my love of teaching, earning an MA in Applied Math prior to leaving. I later earned an MA in Teaching Math from USC. Have been a tutor for 32 years and have been a classroom teacher for 26 years. I’ve earned the distinction of Most Inspiring Teacher presented by the President and the Secretary of Education. I’m a lover of teaching and all things Math. Physics C (Mechanics) too! I love tutoring and teaching as it is who I am and in my soul. I look forward to working with you.

I am a dedicated and hardworking teacher and tutor. I’m enthusiastic and encouraging and have developed an enormous Rolodex of teaching styles and approaches to meet student needs. I plan ahead but I have the unique quality to be able to pivot to a different approach should I need to in a lesson. I love tutoring and teaching as it is who I am and in my soul. I look forward to working with you. I’ve worked with students that said they weren’t math students and went on to become math majors.
