About Hemant
Scoring All India Rank of 773 (out of ~1 million candidates) in JEE (an annual engineering entrance exam), I got Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay. With a keen eye for furthering my knowledge in the subject, I completed Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at University of Alberta. I worked as Teaching Assistant for 2 years at UofA, and discovered my passion for teaching. Since then, I have taught 25+ students and have loved every bit of this experience.

I truly believe in 'Practice makes perfect'. I bring practice problems with me before the classes for my students. I make sure to take pauses during my lessons so my students have enough time to understand the lessons. I always try to provide examples from real-life problems so students can appreciate that what they are learning actually has real-life use.

Perfect! Hemant is professional and a very helpful tutor. He helps me understand course contents that are university level. He explains concepts really well, and is open to remote tutoring since it is the convenient way for my situation. I would highly recommend him as a tutor!

Hemant is a hard-working person. He has been doing tutoring in Edmonton since 2016. His students have always regarded him as the greatest of tutors. He has excellent communication skills and great listening skills. I highly recommend him as a tutor.
Hemant is an amazing tutor. He explains fundamental concepts and underlying theories really well. He explains the queries by bringing a lot of real life examples which helps a lot in understanding the clarity of concepts. I would strongly recommend him.
He is such a great human being and really works hard in anything he does. I have gone school with him and been in touch with him for 3 years at university of Alberta.
