About Anton
I’m a Chemical Engineering student with a strong background in Chemistry, Maths, and Physics having taken the three of them for A-level (and lived to tell the tale). As I have gone through these exams myself, I understand how challenging and sometimes daunting they can feel, so I aim to make difficult topics clear and manageable.
I take a supportive and patient approach to tutoring, focusing on building both understanding and confidence. Alongside my studies, I have two years of experience tutoring violin, which has helped me develop strong communication and teaching skills when working with younger students.

My tutoring focuses on helping students build a clear understanding of GCSE Maths, Chemistry, and Physics while improving their confidence with exam-style questions. I explain concepts in simple, logical steps and focus on the reasoning behind methods rather than memorisation.
Lessons include clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice, followed by exam-style questions to develop problem-solving skills and exam technique.
Lessons are 1 hour long, allowing time to review previous material, cover new topics, and practise questions.
I am currently a Chemical Engineering student at Exeter University, giving me a strong foundation in maths and science. I have also been tutoring violin for two years, which has helped me develop effective teaching and communication skills. My lessons are aimed at GCSE students (ages 14–16).
