About Giovanna
Hello! My name is Giovanna, and I'm a Chemistry student at BCIT. I've been an undergraduate in Marine Biology in the past, so I learned a lot from there. I'm originally from Brazil, that means that I was taught some subjects differently, which I think it's great. I can teach you another way to do things that may be easier to understand. Furthermore, I believe studying is not as hard as teachers and other students make it look like, it can be fun (sometimes). I've had Calculus I, Zoology, Botanic, Cell Biology, Ecology, CHEM 121, and I have vast knowledge in human sciences, so I can help you get through it! (I can also always teach you Portuguese haha).

As a former biology student, I have many teaching techniques that I learned with my professors, and I can adapt to what's better for you. I'll always start by setting up what are you aiming to learn and from there, we are going to do an overview of what are you studying and talk about it, then do exercises and a mental map to sum up and engrave everything in your mind.
