About Samantha
I am a Lakeland, Florida native and enjoy spending time with my family and pets when I am not working.
I graduated from Southeastern University in 2011 with a minor in Chemistry and a major in Biomedical Sciences. I decided to become a teacher shortly after.
I spent 2-3 years teaching at a Title I school where the entire student population was on free lunch. Now I am on year 8 at a high achieving charter school where I have worked to get my AP Chemistry pass rate at 100%.
It is my goal to meet students at whatever level they are at to help them achieve their goals.

My lessons will go through the topic step by step, breaking down the topic as necessary for the particular student.
I have taught Chemistry I honors, Chemistry II Honors, and AP Chemistry for 10 years. I am very familiar with the AP Chemistry test and can help prepare students to pass. My personal class pass rate this year was 100%, but has always been higher than both the national and global average.
My expertise in Chemistry at the high school level, and my experience with both in person and virtual learning, makes me the idea tutor.
