About Anya
In my chemistry lessons, we take an exploratory and reflective journey into the subject’s deep theoretical foundations. I am a Chemistry tutor with over 10 years of experience and a BSc in Polymer Chemistry. My passion for the subject goes beyond textbooks—chemistry, to me, is a lens through which we can understand and protect the environment. I specialize in teaching analytical and environmental chemistry, with a strong focus on chromatographic techniques like Gas Chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). These techniques are fascinating tools that allow us to identify, quantify, and monitor pollutants in air, water, and soil.
In my lessons, I emphasize the importance of sampling methods, separation principles, and detection limits, helping students grasp how precision and accuracy shape real-world chemical analysis. I enjoy guiding learners through the process of interpreting environmental data and understanding its broader implications.
