About Andy Chen
Hey, I’m Andy Chen. I study at a Canadian university and have lived in both China and Canada, so I really get how tricky Chinese can be for English speakers. Most of my best friends are Americans and Canadians, and I’ve helped them learn Chinese in a way that actually makes sense. I know Western culture well, so I explain things clearly and keep lessons chill and practical. No boring drills here — just real conversations, cultural tips, and useful skills you can use every day. I’m patient, easygoing, and focus on helping you improve at your own pace while making learning fun and stress-free.

I totally get the challenges English speakers face when learning Chinese because I’ve been there and helped many friends through it. My lessons are super chill and practical — no boring drills or stressing about tones. We focus on real conversations, everyday vocab, and cultural tips that actually make sense if you’re from the West. Whether you’re just starting out or want to get better at speaking and understanding, I’ll tailor the lessons to what you need.
