About Sandrover

I’m Sandrover, a Civil Engineer with professional experience applying mathematics, geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and physics in real-world engineering projects. I’m patient, approachable, and committed to helping students understand concepts clearly rather than simply memorizing formulas. I personalize each lesson to your learning style, pace, and goals, creating a supportive environment where you can ask questions, build confidence, and improve your problem-solving skills.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Sandrover, a Civil Engineer with a strong background in mathematics, geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and physics. My goal as a tutor is to make difficult concepts easier to understand by explaining them step by step and connecting them to real-life examples.

My Teaching Approach

I believe students learn best when they understand why a formula or method works, rather than simply memorizing it. I adjust my teaching style based on each student's level, learning pace, and specific needs.

I use:

Simple, step-by-step explanations
Worked examples and practice problems
Visual diagrams for geometry and trigonometry
Real-world engineering applications when helpful
Guided problem-solving instead of simply giving the answers
Review and practice to build confidence and accuracy
Typical Lesson

A typical session begins with a quick review of previous topics and identification of areas where the student needs help. We then work through the main concept together, followed by examples and practice questions. I encourage students to solve problems independently while providing guidance when needed. Each lesson ends with a short review of key concepts and recommendations for further practice.

What Sets Me Apart

As a Civil Engineer, I use mathematics and physics in practical applications, so I can show students how the concepts they learn in class are actually used in engineering and everyday situations. I focus not only on getting the correct answer but also on developing logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence.

Who My Lessons Are For

My lessons are suitable for elementary, high school, and college/university students who need support in mathematics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, or physics. I can also help students prepare for tests, exams, assignments, and specific topics they find challenging.

Whether you need help understanding a difficult concept, improving your grades, or simply becoming more confident in math and physics, I’ll work with you at your own pace.
