About Sara
As a Civil Engineer, I use math everyday in solving problems and creating designs for everything ranging from stormwater sewers to roadways and buildings. I didn’t always do well in math classes, but found that certain teachers and peers helped motivate me to keep on learning and practicing. I can appreciate how the encouragement I got as well as opportunity to see the practical aspect of what I was learning made me appreciate the process despite the challenge. I hope I can provide that same encouragement and make math concepts easy enough for anyone to understand

Every student learns in their own way and I try and tailor my approach to each person’s unique learning preferences and style. I try to show the practical applications of math and how the concepts learned in class can be applied in everyday life. Math shouldn’t have to be a struggle. Like any learning any skill, it takes some time and practice but ultimately with the right coaching anyone can succeed
