About Ruben
I have always excelled in maths and physics at school, however it was only when I was 15 I started to really enjoy them. Since they were subjects I had an aptitude for and also was passionate about I decided to continue to study them at a-level. During my A-Levels I worked at a tuition company which specialised in preparing students for their GCSE exams where I tutored Maths, English and all 3 sciences. Now I am in my first year of university studying civil engineering and I aim to use my passion for these subjects to help other students and hopefully give them the same enjoyment and curiosity that I have.

Lessons can be done online or face to face, and they are usually an hour long. I would typically spend the first 30 minutes teaching the content of a specific topic, and the second half of the lesson will be used to test the student on their knowledge of the topic to consolidate what they have learnt. I use past papers a lot so students become familiar with the style of questions and it gives me an opportunity to teach how to manage their time in exams.
