Piano/Theory: I have successfully guided students through the ABRSM (Piano and Theory), ensuring a 100% pass rate. I teach students of all ages, spanning beginners and casual players to those pursuing the ARSM level. Each student's level is taken into consideration when designing my lessons, ensuring a customised approach. Whether you are a beginner or someone who wishes to reignite their passion for piano, I adapt the lessons accordingly! My goal is to instil a genuine love for the instrument in my students. I support students in building a solid base in musicianship and technique, fostering their love for classical music. With patience and encouragement, my aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students can progress at their own pace and cultivate a lifelong passion for playing the piano. Composition: I aim to help you enhance your musical abilities to effectively convey your unique creative instincts, and I strive to create captivating composition lessons, providing you with a comprehensive and well-rounded understanding of music. Lessons can include writing songs, pieces, arranging and orchestration or analysing compositions and repertoire that interest you!

Laila has been teaching my 2 kids theory and composition for the past year . She is great at explaining complex topics in a really clear way. She's always great at listening to what wenwanted to achieve and was so personable.
Laila is an extremely motivating and passionate tutor! My daughter was on the verge of giving up on her piano lessons due to a previous tutor who lacked excitement. Fortunately, for both us and our daughter, we discovered Laila who re-ignited her passion!
Laila has been super helpful and supportive for the past 2 years as my composition and theory tutor. Her lessons are always well tailored to my needs, and I have made great progress with composition, particularly my composition for A level music. Laila is extremely patient and punctual but also stretches me during lesson, so I always achieve more than I expect! I highly recommend Laila - she has so so so much musical knowledge that she always is happy to pass on!
Laila is an incredibly patient and skilled piano teacher. As someone who started as a complete novice, I now feel self-assured when playing the keyboard! I would highly recommend her.
