About Craig
I don't think that it's my 15-years as a classroom (math) teacher that necessarily sets me apart, but the fact that I have 15-years of experience engaging with a huge range of students that came from various educational backgrounds, confidence levels & knowledge. Through those experiences I was able to find deeper ways to connect with students, earn their respect and trust, and then work with them (especially during the times of struggles & doubts) to deepen their understanding of the topics we were learning.

Do your teachers not really get why certain types of math topics don't come as easy for you to understand? I can sympathize since I was also one of those students, as well as taught students with all confidence levels in math for 15-years.
My math lessons will be designed to suit your learning style(s) by getting to know what you already know and how you were able to gain those understandings. I incorporate technology, practice, investigating, and a bit of fun into my lessons so that there is a variety of ways to help the student engage and understand.

I have two daughters that were struggling with algebra during the remote learning period of Covid. They were a freshman and sophomore at the time I enlisted Craig for tutoring. He does a great job of simplifying the lessons and has a great communication style that eased the frustrations my daughters were having. Both were able to finish their classes with confidence and improved grades. Highly recommend Craig for remote math tutoring.
