Super Prof

Shaylee is one of our best Maths tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Shaylee

I'm a UNLV freshman majoring in Accounting, and a recent High Honors high school graduate! I'm an Asian American who has worked as a student tutor back in my high school career with sophomores, and have been helping my peers by providing different viewpoints for better understanding. Everyone starts somewhere, so don't worry I personally have been through those trenches before. My whole school career so far has been nothing but challenges left and right with the amount of honors and AP's I've taken, but I've found many ways around it. So if you’re looking to take a peek into my book of tips and tricks I’d be happy to share some of my favorites! (ദ്ദി˙ᗜ˙)

About the lesson

When it comes to teaching, I'd first like to gauge what type of learner the student is. I understand the struggles when it comes to forcing a certain thinking style, so what I find is best for math in general is giving multiple ways and letting the student find their spark! Once that spark is found, I can continue the best tutoring style for the individual, and even recommend ways that'd be best for studying after the sessions. As a recent graduate of high school, I'm qualified to teach all levels of math up to AP Precalculus, and create a welcoming environment for those who wish to improve. (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)

Perfect! Shaylee went above and beyond to help me during tutoring! She has the endurance to last through long sessions while maintaining productivity throughout. She’s extremely accommodating and is proficient in the material I needed assistance in. Skill set aside, I’d recommend her to everyone, as shes been so sweet towards me and genuinely wants to see all her students succeed.

Shaylee's response
Kaycee was wonderful to work with! Her social demeanor and openness to learn made our long 6 hour cramming session before her test that much more easier. Despite the long and late session, I would 100% teach again, and once again thank her for the opportunity in the first place. :]

Perfect! Shaylee is very knowledgeable and has great communication. I met her last minute and she was still able to squeeze me into her schedule. Had a test in a couple days and aced it. I don’t think I would have done as good if it weren’t for Shaylee. seriously!

Perfect! Shaylee was VERY quick to respond. We were in a time crunch due to an upcoming Algebra test (retake). She was communicative and made arrangements to meet immediately!! After our lesson my daughter said she was easier to understand than her actual Algebra teacher!! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND Shaylee!!
