About Adamson
I've tutored on the side with companies like Varsity Tutors for years. As an instructor at a local community college and BYU Idaho, I consider myself an expert in the field of rhetoric, composition, and creative writing.
Often, I help students with argumentative/persuasive essays, rhetorical analysis essays, and personal essays, among other types. And while I understand the hesitancy behind and difficult nature of writing, I'm passionate about the written and oral word, and I'm unashamed at sharing that excitement.

I teach people, not lessons. As an experienced tutor and educator, I recognize that everyone arrives at a different level, with a different skill set and unique set of challenges. I work toward identifying and then utilizing what my students already have, leaving them with more by the time each session ends.
I teach college-level English, and as a result, I'm most accustomed to working with students already at a proficient academic level. However, as a former high school English teacher, I also work with younger students, especially when it comes to writing essays and short stories.

I remembered having Adamson as a professor back in 2014. It’s been that far back and I still remember his teaching style because I was truly impressed by his knowledge in research and his ability to talk about a topic without taking sides but mainly informing of the topic with reasoning and facts.
