About Joey
I was the student in class that tutored my classmates in Mandarin for my teacher. I would like to help the younger generation of Singaporean kids converse in Mandarin with confidence. During my time living abroad, I've met many Chinese nationals and they were surprised by my fluency in the language as they've heard that Singaporean Chinese are not fluent. This inspired me to help the younger generation excel in the language.

Mandarin
I grew up listening to Mandarin songs as well as reading the local Chinese newspapers. My teaching methodology is to incorporate the language as part of the student's daily life.
A typical length of a lesson ranges from 60 to 90 minutes. We would start with reading materials and exploring the meaning behind the story and vocabulary.
Students aged 7 to 17 years old are welcomed, regardless of their level of Mandarin.
