About Leanna
I work as a Communicative Disorders Assistant within the field of speech, language, and literacy. I also graduated with an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and Psychology. In my years of experience, I have worked with various individuals and have learned different skills, but the most important has been realizing the strengths of those I have worked with and that is what I will bring to each session. A vision of where we need to go and an acknowledgment of the skills of each individual. I want to see you flourish and reach your goals, and will work with you to make that happen!

I have experience working with individuals with various diagnoses of autism. I believe in tailoring goals that are unique to the individual and working with their strengths in order to fulfill and reach goals.
Throughout each lesson I will positively encourage the individual in their work and will presume competence, knowing that they can accomplish a task with the right tools!

I have known Leanna for most of my life and throughout this time I have seen her grow as a mentor and teacher. She has had loads of experience working with children and teens. Leanna is very passionate about helping children succeed in their learning! She is a great listener and will always take the time to help out. I highly recommend her as a tutor! You won’t regret it!
Leanna is a dedicated and caring teacher. She is kind, patient, and attentive. She has tutored me through APA formatting and several University level assignments, but she has also worked closely with young children for many years. She has a very empowering manner and I have no doubt all of her students will agree!
