About Emily
Hi there! I’m a computer science major finishing my bachelor’s degree at McGill University, and I have over 3 years of tutoring experience teaching high school and CEGEP students. I’ve also worked at big tech companies and gained experience through research.
I’m friendly, easy to talk to, and I enjoy helping students feel more confident as they learn at their own pace. :) My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel supported, can ask questions freely, and see progress. :)
My lessons are great for middle school, high school, and CEGEP students who are just starting to code, as well as beginners who want a strong foundation in programming!

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and level. Each session includes clear explanations, coding examples, guided practice, pair programming, and fun hands-on projects like building games, small programs, or simple web apps, depending on the student’s goals.
My lessons are great for middle school and high school students who are starting to code, as well as beginners who want to build a strong foundation in programming.
I’m available to teach Python, Java, and web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and can also help with data structures and algorithms based on your goals
