I teach math, computer science, SAT/ACT prep, and more to students of all ages!
During my 6+ years as a tutor, I have worked with many bright and capable students who struggled to succeed because of self-limiting beliefs about themselves as learners. Many students have a bad experience with math, or some other subject, and tell themselves stories like, "I'm not a math person," or "I'm not a good student." Because of this, a key part of my approach to teaching is helping students foster a positive view of themselves as learners and of their ability to master difficult concepts.
