About Michael
I am a PhD student of computer science at UNC Charlotte researching differentially private machine learning models. I am soon to receive my master's in computer science, after already receiving my BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from UNC Charlotte. I assisted in teaching Calculus I for a semester, then taught data structures and algorithms for two years.
I enjoy refereeing soccer, watching soccer, and playing cello in my free time.

I’ve had a really great experience with Michael! He explains things in a way that actually makes sense instead of just giving me the answer, and he’s really patient when I don’t understand something right away. He makes math feel a lot less stressful and helps me feel more confident going into class and tests.
