About Sierra
Arithmetic was always just a puzzle I had to solve before dinner. I spent 11 years teaching math and coaching 371 students through the toughest competition math prep.
Trigonometry and geometry are simple if you visualize the mechanics first. Mensuration and linear algebra require specific problem-solving strategies rather than raw memorization. We handle word problems by breaking them down into logical steps.
My SAT or ACT math prep focuses on mental math speed. I find that most students just need to see the logic differently.
