My experience comes from mainly Jazz Piano, Songwriting and Classical Piano. I am proficient in Music Theory so am I able to teach this alongside. As mentioned above, I'm also a Songwriter so can help you find your unique, individual voice , whether that be through simply the piano, or piano and singing.
With my confident approach to teaching, I can help you progress efficiently, embedding practical techniques as well as securing understanding of complex harmony and varieties of scales. I tend to create my lessons around your preferences, to boost potentiality, whether that be in a particular genre of music, through improvisation or doing graded syllabuses.
I bring a playful, charismatic and silly attitude to life, so excel in teaching children and adults alike; by being understanding, empathetic and a good listener. I can also provide alternative tools to progress such as Eastern techniques including ‘flow state’ in meditation, helping you to be calm and confident when performing.

It's been around four lessons with George and I already feel more confident at attempting exercises and songs. He provides a good balance between practice and classical techniques that are improving my placement and pronunciation.
George is an excellent singing teacher. He tailors his lessons for all ages and abilities. He is calm and patient. I would highly recommend him.
George teaches with a smile and a contagious positive attitude, giving you confidence and belief in your potential ability. recommended.
Phenomenal coach. I found George through the website and I find his teaching style to be not only very engaging but also motivating, as he makes notes of things you do well in addition to areas that need improvement. He is a kind and interesting guy who you will learn a lot from.
If you enjoy a more practical experience. George is the man for the job!George has been a great teacher, he helped me develop my skills and confidence so much that I can now hear myself and think "wow, I've come a long way!". He is a great communicator and made me feel comfortable and listened to at every lesson.
