About Marie
Standing in my first classroom 13 years ago, I realized that language learning is deeply tied to how our brains organize information. My degree from UBC in Vocal Performance and TEFL allows me to blend linguistic structure with the rhythmic nuances of speech. I have worked with everyone from Grade 3 newcomer kids to adults finding their footing in Canada. My approach prioritizes clarity and nervous system regulation to ensure you feel secure while building your English.
The focus remains on functional communication for business travelers, absolute beginners, and IELTS candidates. I have supported countless learners in finding their voice through steady and patient guidance. Seeing students gain confidence in their ability to navigate complex social interactions provides me with the greatest satisfaction.
