Hi, I’m Naman Issar, a Master’s student in Marketing Management with Advertising at the University of Leeds and a creative professional with over 4 years of experience in filmmaking, advertising, and content creation. I’ve worked as an Assistant Director at UnCommonSense Films, managing everything from pre-production to post-production for digital advertisements and short films. My experience also includes casting, creative direction, and scriptwriting for ad films and social media campaigns. With a strong foundation in Journalism and Mass Communication, I combine creativity and strategy to craft compelling stories that resonate with audiences. I’m proficient in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and Final Draft, which I incorporate into my lessons for practical, hands-on learning. Whether you're a student (8+ years) wanting to explore creative storytelling or a professional looking to refine your skills in marketing and advertising, my lessons are designed to inspire, engage, and empower you. My Approach to Tutoring: I believe in creating a fun, engaging, and personalised learning experience tailored to the needs of each student. My teaching methodology combines creative problem-solving with practical applications, ensuring students of all ages can connect with the subject matter. Teaching Techniques and Methodology: Interactive Learning: Using storytelling, relatable examples, and hands-on activities to explain concepts. Visual Aids: Incorporating videos, infographics, and diagrams for better understanding. Creative Exercises: Fun assignments like creating mock ads or campaigns to spark creativity. Step-by-Step Guidance: Breaking down ideas into simple, digestible steps to ensure clarity and confidence. Typical Lesson Length: 45 to 60 minutes for younger students (ages 8–12). 60 to 90 minutes for older students (ages 13+), depending on the topic and pace. Qualifications/Experience: Pursuing MSc in Marketing Management with Advertising at the University of Leeds. Bachelor's in Journalism and Mass Communication, with practical experience in media and marketing. Experience creating corporate films, ad campaigns, and social initiatives. Background in teaching underprivileged kids and conducting workshops, equipping me with the ability to simplify complex concepts for younger learners. Who the Lessons Are For: Students aged 8 and above. For younger learners, lessons focus on fostering creativity, communication skills, and basic marketing concepts through fun activities. For older students, lessons provide a deeper understanding of advertising, marketing, and media strategies, catering to both academic and practical needs. My goal is to inspire curiosity and creativity in students while equipping them with skills and knowledge that they can use in everyday life or their future careers.
