About Christina
English has always been my favorite subject, and I love everything that falls under its umbrella. Growing up, my mom was a medical transcriptionist and my babysitter was a homeschool coordinator. Because of them, I was able to read and write by the age of three. Since then, I've rarely been able to keep my nose out of a book. I also struggle with having ADHD, which made school very difficult for me. I have experience working with children who also have learning disabilities like ADHD and autism. Because of my personal experience, I know that language skills and literacy are essential crafts to master for academic success.

Learning is meant to be fun and exciting. I make sure my lessons are interactive and keep the student engaged. I go beyond teaching just literacy and grammar by incorporating etymological mini-lessons. Why is the plural of "goose" "geese", but the plural of "moose" is not "meese"? I can get into that and more, all while keeping you or your child fully entertained and engaged. I also offer proofreads for essays at $10 per page.
