About Bryce
With three years of experience at Mathnasium as both a tutor and a manager, a degree in Mathematics, and additional work as a college-level tutor, I bring a strong and diverse background in helping students succeed. I’ve worked with a wide range of subjects, skill levels, and learning styles, and I understand how to meet students where they are.
My top priority is always building a solid mathematical foundation. Without strong fundamentals, subjects like Geometry and Precalculus can become unnecessarily challenging. By reinforcing core concepts and strengthening confidence, I help students not only improve their grades, but truly understand the “why” behind the math.

First and foremost I tutor because I think math is fun, cool, and one of the most beautiful things.
I like working with the student to understand where they are currently and what frustrations they may have with regards to math, then build a plan from there. I always like to include a new digestable math fact for the student every time we meet to reinforce the idea that math is everywhere.
Lessons would be split into 2 parts, the beginning of the lesson will cover old topics that the student may be lacking in, then the second portion will cover what is happening in school, with 10-15 minutes devoted to homework help as well.
