About Elsa
Although I am still a high school student, I do really care about education. Growing up, if there was ever something that I was struggling with, I wished that there were someone to help me where I wouldn’t feel jugged for not knowing something. With that, it is my goal to not only tutor those who need it, but also make whomever I am helping feel comfortable with me, and feel comfortable asking for help. Personally I have had really great math teachers in high school, which has helped me pass both algebra 1 and 2 with A’s. Therefore, I feel confident tutoring those subjects.

As a student myself, I understand how hard it can be for a certain lesson or topic to “click.” So often I found myself talking allowed to teaching a subject to others or even myself in order to understand it better. Through that, I have learned certain ways of explaining hard to grasp lessons.

Details
I set a price of $10 an hour, but am open to change. If there is disagreement about the price regarding my own education level, teaching ability and quality, difficulty communicating, or even a season of life that my student is in where money is tight, I won’t hesitate to lower my price. I am not tutoring as a mode of income, but rather to gain teaching experience and providing help for others.
