About Izma
I’m currently a medical student with a real passion for teaching and helping others. I know first-hand how frustrating it can feel when a topic just doesn’t seem to make sense, which is why I want to make learning as enjoyable and accessible as possible.
I love finding creative and memorable ways to explain difficult topics, especially ones that can help you remember things when it comes to exams. I don’t believe learning is one-dimensional or that one method works for everyone; we all learn differently.
I’m always happy to mould my teaching around what works best for you, and I’m just as willing to learn from my students as I am to teach them.

My lessons are relaxed, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I focus on making sure you genuinely understand the basics before building on them, while using questions, discussion and exam-style practice to help strengthen your knowledge and confidence.
As a current medical student with previous tutoring experience, I understand that everyone learns differently, so I’m happy to adapt each lesson to what works best for you. Whether you need help with a particular topic, exam preparation or simply want to build your confidence in Biology.
Lessons are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour, but I’m flexible and happy to meet your needs.
I offer Biology tuition for GCSE and A-level students, as well as medical school interview preparation!
