About Federico
I'm a medical student at UAB currently in the MD/PhD program. I have spent my entire career up to this point in science, math and research. I know the process to understanding science and I am tired of hearing people say "Science is too hard" or "Math confuses me". I know many people who have great careers in science and math, and the key is not them being "smart", it's knowing how to approach information and that is something anyone can learn.

I always take the first lesson to get a baseline of where a student is. The key to the STEM subjects is approach. Learning facts may help in the short term but getting in the right mindset will help a student actually succeed. I want to help the student get to the point where they don't need me. I always ask students to explain to me how they got to their answer and my goal is to give them the tools to get to the right answer correctly and efficiently.
