About Leya
I believe that mistakes are a natural and important part of learning. They help us understand where we need to improve and so, in my tutoring, I always try to create a supportive, judgement-free environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I believe everyone deserves the chance to learn and succeed, no matter their starting point. My approach is patient and adaptable, always tailored to the individual and I aim to make learning less stressful and more rewarding!

My approach to teaching is patient, friendly, and tailored to how the student learns best. I believe that everyone understands things differently, so I try to explain topics in a way that makes sense to them; whether that’s through step-by-step examples, visual aids, or real-life applications. I focus on building confidence as well as knowledge, and I always encourage questions to make sure a student truly understands the material, not just memorise it!
