About Pratiksha
Hey you guys, I am Pratiksha Maharaj and I am currently 18 years old. I have just recently graduated from high school. I graduated with 2 distinctions which are very hard to achieve in matric, but I was able to do it and therefore you can achieve it as well. My learning methods and marks prove that I am more than capable to help you improve in any way. We can work through anything concerning Biology (Life Science), History, and Business studies as I have done quite well in all of them. I do not judge you by marks or even behavior, etc. I am very respectful of all beliefs genders, and pronouns, I wish to help all who contact me so that they may have a brighter future ahead of them, and obtain all the goals they have set for themselves.

I have helped many students in my grade while I was in school to pass, my method is that I try my best to relate the work to the students, visual aids help as well as sometimes we process information better when we can visually see it, however, this may change according to how the students are more comfortable learning. I am fluent in English and I can teach in it. In a typical lesson, they can expect me to give a brief overview of what we are studying for the day and how I wish to relay it (if they want to do it differently it is okay as we all have different ways of learning), we would go over terminology so that they can get used to it while we work through the material so that in the test, exam, or classroom they will not be confused when those words are used. We would end the session with a brief test covering all the work we had completed, they may also keep any question papers to revise in the future before the test. In these sessions, I aim to help improve a student's understanding of the subject so that their marks may improve, I would work with the student for them to achieve the best possible mark that they can achieve for the subject. This may be a 70 percent or even a distinction.
