About Marnie
my name is marnie and i’m in my first year of alevel maths after passsing my maths gcse with flying colours. i’ve had a passion for teaching other for years from helping my class mates to tutoring younger students. i’ve had maths tutors running up to exams for years and have found it very helpful for my personal weak spots as i’m not the one to put my hand up in class and understand that there are many other students who feel the same.

understanding how each individual student learns and getting to know there weak points is very important. personalised challenges and exam walkthroughs have proven to be very helpful especially on the run up to gcses or mocks.learning should be fun and memorable so i tend to stay alway from repetitive work and focus on all types of question. my lesson start off with two small mark questions tailored to the student, then move on to an explanation of the topic chosen for the lesson and some example questions to work through together, the student is then given there own past exam question to try on there own.
