About Joseph
I am very passionate about the subjects that I wish to give lessons on, I have recently given a lot of consideration into pursuing a career in education as a university lecturer and I feel that this is a great opportunity to experience what a career in teaching would be like. Since attending university I have helped a number of friends on my course in areas where they struggled to understand certain aspects of our course. In school I wasn't always the first to grasp concepts so I understand what it is like to struggle with certain topics and I feel I have a great deal of patience and am willing to put in the time to help students succeed.

The typical length of a lesson is an hour. Chemistry and biology lessons can be taught at an A level standard and below. Maths and physics can be taught at a GCSE standard and below. Lessons will be split roughly as 40 minutes of content and the remaining 20 minutes can be used to reinforce the content by doing some worked questions, and answering any remaining questions students have. I have approximately 50hrs of teaching experience as a lab assistant at Swansea University, the ages of the students I taught ranged from years 7 - 13.
