About Ainee
Year 3 English and Maths Assistance (2017 - current):
Currently assisting two students in learning to enjoy and feel more confident at school. I assist with reading, writing and spelling for children with families who have limited English-speaking ability. With reading I assist with phonetically sounding out difficult words and teaching them to read confidently and enthusiastically, as well as have an understanding of the texts. As for writing, I assist with language conventions, spelling and neatness. This can move into writing stories and persuasive texts. I also assist with mathematics, allowing the student to understand concepts and recognise patterns. I also focus on NAPLAN preparation, using practice books and questions to make sure the student is familiar and confident in answering the types of questions they will receive in their NAPLAN tests.
Year 8 Mathematics Tutor (Nov 2016):
I assisted with homework and how to solve different types of sums and provided resources made by myself targeted towards the student's areas of struggle. I focused on solid ways to approach all different types of questions as well as step-by-step solutions of examples. This helped a C grade student achieve a high A grade on their maths test.

I can tutor for all subjects Year 1 to Year 10. The ATAR subjects I tutor for are English, Chemistry, Physics and Human Biology.
My lesson structure for primary school students is focused on reading, writing, spelling and mathematics. I have experience tutoring English for children with families who speak limited English. I begin by assisting with any homework and then moving onto further developing the student's skills to make them more enthusiastic and confident at school. I also assist with NAPLAN preparation using practice books to ensure your child is familiar with the types of questions and be prepared.
My structure for high school students is varying depending on the subject and the student's ability level. I target all their concerns and needs first, and then ensure they are confident in the whole area. I can also help study for a particular test or subject topic. I can work with the student to create lesson plans that work best for them and help them exceed expectations.
