About James
I have been teaching in academic settings for most of my career. I taught at a local low-income high school in Chicago before I started as a post-doctoral researcher at University of Chicago. I enjoyed my time there and the challenge of adjusting my academic teaching style to high school students. I love helping students acquire knowledge and change their perspective.

Experienced scientist and educator offering tutoring in general and organic chemistry, plus general biology. With a PhD in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and extensive research experience investigating novel antibiotics, I am knowledgeable about microbiology, biochemistry, and the fundamentals of biology and chemistry.
