About Joseph
I am 18 years old and working on getting my certifications for cybersecurity engineering. I have 6 siblings, which made growing up interesting. I have helped my siblings for so many years that, before I even graduated, I was already tutoring at my high school.
Seeing my siblings improve their grades and become more confident and happy with their work made me realize how much I enjoy helping others learn. It made me want to tutor more often, and it’s something I genuinely love doing.
So many students worry that they are a bother when asking for help and end up not asking the questions they need to ask. I believe a good teacher should always be willing to go more in-depth or re-explain a topic to make sure everyone is on the same page. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and know that there is never anything wrong with needing something explained another way.

I like to start by going over past work and taking notes on what problems arise consistently. At the end of that short segment, I go over the most frequent mistakes and go in depth on the concepts behind each problem that was missed. I finish by giving extra practice problems, reinforcing the concepts that were discussed earlier.
