About Alexis

I am a 23-year-old college graduate from a performing arts school. Before that I have been a dancer for 20 years and a dance teacher for 8 years. I also have an associate degree in acting and know how to work storytelling into your dancing.

About the lesson

My lessons can range from a half hour to an hour for each class. Each dance style is one class. Example: Ballet is one class and Jazz is another class. I can do up to 2 days a week for each student. Half hour classes are $20. If there are siblings that would like to take classes together I offer a discount rate and not $30 each student. My half hour lessons we will start with a warm-up to waken up our muscles and then learn some dance steps. In my hour or longer classes, we still do warm-ups and dance steps but we will also work on a routine. My tap and hip hop classes I only do up to intermediate. If you are interested in competing but do not have a studio I will work with you on getting into a competition with a competitive dance. Competitive dance is an extra charge that can be talked about. It will be an extra charge if you want purchased costumes

Dance teaching for kids, teens and adults. Beginner, intermediate or advanced. I teach styles ballet, jazz, pointe, contemporary, modern, musical theater, lyrical, hip hop and tap.
