Hi! My name is Julia, and I am a Computer Science student at Queen’s University and a Dean’s Honor List recipient. I have a strong academic background, achieving seven Grade 9s in my IGCSE O-level examinations and a 96% average in the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

I offer tutoring in Mathematics and Computer Science for middle school and high school students. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills.
My teaching approach is personalized to each student's learning style and goals. I begin by identifying areas where the student may be struggling, then break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. I encourage students to actively participate during lessons by asking questions, working through examples, and explaining concepts in their own words.
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, introducing new concepts, working through guided examples, and practicing exam-style questions together. I also provide study strategies and tips for tests, assignments, and long-term academic success.
As a current university student who recently completed high school and advanced mathematics courses, I understand the challenges students face and can explain concepts in a relatable way. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for exams, or aiming for top grades, I am committed to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can succeed.
