I believe that mathematics becomes much easier and more interesting when students understand why a formula works instead of simply memorizing it.
My teaching approach is based on:
- Explaining concepts step by step
- Showing where formulas come from
- Using everyday examples to make mathematics relatable
- Encouraging students to ask questions and think independently
- Building confidence in students who feel that mathematics is difficult or frightening
- Giving plenty of examples and practice to strengthen understanding
Together, we will work on understanding the concept first and then applying it confidently.
My Teaching Style
My classes are interactive and student-centered. I encourage students to explain their thinking, ask questions and learn from mistakes.
I don't want students to be afraid of mathematics. My goal is to help them gradually develop the feeling:
“I understand this. I can do this.”
Trial Lesson
I am happy to offer an introductory/trial lesson so that we can understand the student's current level, learning needs and goals and decide how I can best support them.
